Iraq ziyarat tours from the UK
Iraq is home to some of the most important places in Islamic history: cities where great scholars taught, the resting places of members of the Prophet's family ﷺ and his Companions, and the heritage of the Abbasid golden age. Sabeel Travels' Iraq tours are planned as spiritual journeys that combine ziyarat with learning and comfortable travel.

Before you travel
Flights are not normally included, so you can fly from your nearest UK airport and join the group in Iraq. Your passport must be valid for at least six months from your date of travel. Reserve your place with a £100 deposit per person and we will confirm the full itinerary and joining details with you.

Do British citizens need a visa for Iraq?
Yes. Visas on arrival are no longer available for federal Iraq. You must apply for an e-visa online at least 24 hours before travel. It currently costs $160 and is valid for 60 days. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after you arrive and have a blank page. A Kurdistan Region visa is not valid for the rest of Iraq. See the latest GOV.UK travel advice.
