ℹ️ Important Travel Notes (Autumn Season)

🌤️ Weather & Attire

🕌 Dress Code at Religious Ziyarats

Modest attire must be worn. Shoulders and knees need coverage across all shrines. Sisters are requested to bring a lightweight hijab/headscarf for holy grounds.

💵 Currency & Local Access

The local currency is the Uzbek Som (UZS). Airport cash desks offer reliable currency conversions. Credit cards function well inside premium establishments; however, hard cash is highly recommended for market bargains and local items.

📱 Connectivity & Logistics

Local SIM cards are easily picked up at arrivals. The regional time zone runs at GMT +5 with standard European plugs (Types C & F). Stick strictly to packaged/bottled water to ensure optimal hydration.
