Jordan & Syria Tour May 28 - June 6 2027

Ten days of Islamic heritage in Amman, Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama

Walk in the footsteps of the Prophets, the Sahabah and Salahuddin on a guided ten-day journey through Jordan and Syria - from the Cave of the Seven Sleepers and the Blessed Tree to the Umayyad Mosques of Damascus and Aleppo.

Overview

This is one of our most special journeys: ten days through the lands of Sham, where so much of early Islamic history took place. We begin in Amman with the Cave of the Seven Sleepers and the maqams of Nabi Shu'ayb and Nabi Yusha, stop at the Blessed Tree near Safawi, then cross into Syria to explore Bosra, Damascus, Homs, Hama and Aleppo with licensed local guides.

You will pray in the Umayyad Mosque of Damascus, visit the resting place of Salahuddin al-Ayyubi and the Mosque of the Forty Martyrs on Mount Qasioun, stand in the Khalid ibn al-Walid Mosque in Homs, see the ancient waterwheels of Hama and climb to the Citadel of Aleppo, before returning to Jordan past the Yarmouk battlefield region.

  • Border timings: the visits to Bosra (30 May) and the Yarmouk battlefield region (5 June) depend on border clearance times and road conditions on the day.
