Daily Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival to Cairo

Arrival at Sphinx International Airport. Upon arrival, you will find our representative waiting for you with a sign, then you will be transferred by air-conditioned car to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 02: Islamic Cairo Tour

Following breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your hotel to enjoy a spiritual day tour to the Islamic and Coptic sites in Cairo. First, see Saladin Citadel where Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque stays, also Al Gawhara palace. Visit Sultan Hassan & El-Refaie Mosques. Then proceed to Ibn Tulun Mosque and the Gayer Anderson Museum. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 03: Cairo Pyramids Tour

Start your full day visiting the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, featuring a rare collection of Royal Mummies. View over 50,000 artifacts tracing Egyptian civilization. Next, visit the Great Pyramids — Cheops, Chephren & Mykerinos, followed by a close-up look at the Sphinx and its surrounding funeral complex. Dinner and overnight in Cairo.

Day 04: Azhar and Islamic Sites

Enjoy a visit to El Azhar, the first Islamic University. Continue to Al Mouayyed Mosque and Bab Zuweila, built by Badr Al Dein Al Gamal. Cross the road to Al Hussein Mosque. Walk to Al Hakam Mosque (a Fatimid Mosque), then to Bab al Fetouh and Bab Al Nasr. Conclude with a shopping tour before returning to the hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 05: Alexandria Tour

Travel to Alexandria to visit the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the biggest library in the world. See the site of the ancient Lighthouse where the Castle of Qaitbay now stands. Visit the beautiful Abbo Elabbas Mosque, the Memorial of the Unknown Soldier, and the statue of Alexander the Great. After lunch, visit the Church of St. Mark before driving along the Corniche to view the modern Stanley Bridge and old downtown. Back to Cairo for overnight.

Day 06: Suez Canal & Springs of Moses to St. Catherine

Full day visit to the Suez Canal, the crucial waterway connecting the Mediterranean Sea to the Red Sea. Drive to visit Oyoun Moussa (the 12 Water Springs of Prophet Moses). Continue the drive to St. Catherine. Dinner and overnight at St. Catherine Hotel.

Day 07: St. Catherine & Sharm El Sheikh

At 01:00 AM, there is an optional trip to climb Mount Sinai. After breakfast, visit the historic site of St. Catherine’s Monastery. Leave for Sharm El Sheikh, arriving in the afternoon. Enjoy free time in Sharm to relax at the resort. Dinner and overnight in Sharm El Sheikh.

Day 08: Departure

Breakfast at the hotel with free time at your leisure. You will then be transferred to Sphinx International Airport for your final departure flight back to London Luton.
